This drawing is made using Inner Voice Drawing, I asked for the theme of the day.

 

Opening up to that inner space, being there. Communicating with inspiration, let it flow out of the color pencils. Being a channel - expressing that feeling inside.

 

The butterfly is to me a symbol of transformation.

It started out as an Iner Voice Drawing but evolved into a zen-doodle. Playing around is such fun, and gives me a good opportunity to let my thoughts rest, and completely be in the moment. Therefore the word zen.

Real food comes from nature, it is unprocessed or minimally processed before you eat it. It is full of life, in form of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. It supports our bodies and our health, that's why I choose to eat this way. It can heal our bodies.

I find that it's often the small things that matters the most. Looking at a flower and seeing it's beauty, and be reminded we humans are the flowers of this world. We have to focus more on our beauty, and let it shine like a flower. No filter there! You see the inner beauty shining through, the honesty, the truth, the love, the peace ... See the beauty in you and others! Go look for it!

Relationship - what's it all about?

 

Opposites attract - not always as obvious as here!

 

We fall in love with a person that has qualitities that complete us, we often feel. The obvious ones are the qualities that we like. Underneath are the ones that we can learn from, and that can make us more whole as a person. Our partner also possess qualities that we don't like at first sight; in order for the relationship to survive, we have to come to terms with them, embrace them, over time even appreciate them ... that way we grow.

 

A relationship also triggers all our own limitations, this gives you the opportunity to heal yourself and be more whole. Relationship is the fastest way to enlightenment, if you pick up all the situations and use them as an opportunity to heal and grow. So a relationship is always about you! But we are so used to look at others and judge their behaviors, instead of looking into ourselves, heal, and grow.

A ROSE IS A ROSE IS A ROSE

 

 

A rose is energy created into this ethereal beauty. And a rose is just a rose, it does nothing to appear differntly, it shows us the truth, it's bare naked, doesn't hide anything.

 

Roses are representatives of the spiritual realm, as Eckhart Tolle almost says. They are so fragile, they have less density than other plants, so it feels like spirit easily and freely can flow through them.

 

Roses give you a chance of being present in the now, to be still, to let go of your thoughts, to observe .... just of being. Stop labeling, just enjoy the moment, the connection with the rose, that interconnectedness ... so just perceive the rose through a background of stillness ... and let the rose come alive!

She feels, she has gotten away without anyone noticing. She feels relief, she feels good about not having to explain.

Colors of the rainbow/chakras on the palette are mixed into a brown, nothing longer stands out. She wants to be normal, to fit in with the rest, to be accepted. She is scared of standing out, to be different from others, cause she had that feeling all her life, and never felt comfortable with it. That means, she was never comfortable in her own shoes, lacked self-confidence and self-worth. She really just wanted to be loved the way, she was, but since she had a feeling of that never happening, she tried to blend in.

They have so much in common, and yet they are so different. They are good at communicating; when one talks, the other listens. They lend each other an ear and a shoulder to lean on. No distance parts them ... their friendship is all about emotional support, love and caring ...

NO,STOP!

 

 

I'm so used to moving on to something new all the time .... This time my heart is filled with sorrow and heaviness, it almost feels strangled! So I stop and say NO this time! I will rather enjoy the sunset!

 

I just read a book by Kris Carr, whom I adore, but I can't follow her way of living, since she cuts way down on fruits, because they are not as alkaline as vegetables. I tried one of her smoothies once! My body didn't like it, my tummy hurt. I choose Liana Shanti's way of living anyday! I just love fruits too much! And I don't need to change all the time! I can live this way for the rest of my life ...

CHILDREN'S STORY

BIRDIE BURT & COOKIE CURT

 

 

Inspired by a good friend of mine and her daughter, I'm working on creating a children's story.

 

As many of you may know, I often use a technique called Inner Voice Drawing, which I have learned from the artist Monika Kretschmar. It's about surrendering to your spirit through meditation, and then with closed eyes make the first lines of the drawing. Afterwards with open eyes you fill out what you see, and perhaps add more. I used this technique with this drawing, as many others, to find out what this story should be about ... cause I had so many ideas in my mind. Then I often find it wonderful to be able to meditate and then see what's put on paper, in stead of sitting in front of a blank piece of paper and be inhibited by your mind. So often inspiration comes from within , call it spirit, higher self, god, angels ... or what you like. It was just as easy to create the two names for the characters.

 

Along with the two drawings I have made so far, came a little story ... that I hope suits a 3 year old.

A FRIEND

 

A very round person, no sharp etches, very emotional.

I like, how she turned out to be a cookie, sweet but also tough when it comes to dealing with her pain ... and then again very soft.

She wants to embrace the world.

Very colorful - shows the world the clown in her.

She is full of love, which gives her wings to fly.

 

All this is inspired by someone close to me, but I have already heard other people relate to the drawing and words.

My connection with nature brings forth the child in me, the joy, the freedom of just being. My olliphant sitting in the grass is the child in me, wanting to play and have fun. Body, emotions and spirit are connected. Love surrounds me. I am love.
